12/16/10-Pretty Good Conditions Last Weekend

Had some fun shooting this video last weekend. Hit Sunday River Friday, Bretton Woods Sunday, Attitash & WildCat on Sunday. Pretty good conditions for the most part. Only wipe out twice. Watch for my 2nd yard sale after the GoPro logo.

12/16/10-Canon (NH) reports 15" of snow in 3 days

Canon's web site reports that they picked up 15 inches of new snow in the past 3 days.

12/14/10- Quick iPhone video shot @ Attitash on 12/12/10

Great Conditions at Attitash on Sunday. It was snowing like crazy. No lift lines. That was before the rain they got later in the day. Their site is reporting wet granular/machine groomed snow today on 11 trails with 55 acres of terrain open and top to bottom skiing and riding on a 5” to 12” base depth.

Holiday 2-Packs are available only until December 22. These tickets are valid any day.

Buy early to ensure that you will be able to purchase tickets for your favorite areas. Here are the details: 
Simply create your package of 2 lift tickets or more by choosing the mountains you want with no more than 50% of your lift tickets to any one mountain. (In an order of two tickets, this means you must pick two different ski areas; in a three ticket order, two can be to one area and one to another; in a four ticket order, you can choose two to one area & two to another.)

You can choose from any or all tiers of mountains.

Attitash hopes to be open Dec 11th

Projected Opening Day

Due to the extensive rain and projected forecast for the next few days, we expect December 11 to be to the opening day for the 2010 - 2011 winter season.

Unfortunately, due to this rain and the warmer temperatures, we could not make snow last night and will not be able to make snow tonight. We do hope that we will be able to resume snowmaking efforts Thursday night if the temperatures permit and will make snow at every possible opportunity.

The taste of the natural snow we saw the other day only has us even more fired up for this season and we're fervently praying Mother Nature sends us more soon, since it's time to get this winter rolling!

Wildcat due to open December 11th

Bad news/good news: Bad news, we're set to repeat last year's December opening date and are now aiming at Saturday, December 11th to open this season. Good news, after today's rain event, we should be getting in to a stretch of cold weather to consistently resume snowmaking to work on that effort. Pray for snow.
