1/10/11-Snowflake Regatta @ Wildcat on Feb 26, 2011

The Snowflake Regatta is a fun day on the ski slopes with all your summer sailing and power boating friends. So gather your crew to race a “Giant Slalom NASTAR Type” course – and remember – it’s okay
to snowplow!

PHRF, One design, cruising and power boat classes are welcome! Crews can organize without the captain. Individuals can organize without a team! This is a day to enjoy with your Summer Friends!!


Race in the morning and free ski in afternoon. The awards party will follow in the main lodge with appetizers, beer and wine.

Great Deal! $10 race ticket discount for racers pre-registered by February 19 th !

Email snowflakeregatta2011@gmail.com with your boat name, name and age of all team members that you think might be coming. If you don’t have all the info, we’ll fill it in when you get there.

The Rules:
(Team rules are relaxed for One-Design and Power Boat Divisions) There is no limit to the number of racers per boat: the more the merrier, so no experience necessary! All Team (boat) trophies will be based on the combined corrected times of the 3 fastest racers.
*Note it maybe beneficial to have a co-ed team but it is not required. PHRF Championship: Team members must have raced with you in the past season to be eligible for the boat
trophies! (Ringers may be challenged)

• 8:00 – 9:30: Registration & Race Ticket Purchase at Mtn in the Pavilion - “Sorry CASH Only” Race Tickets - Include: NASTAR Race and day of skiing

• 10 – 12:00: Race on the “NASTAR TYPE” Giant Slalom course. Each Crew member will have 2
race runs.

• 3:30: Après Awards Party in the Pavilion – nonracers welcome to join in the fun.
