12-6-11 Jay Peak Snow Report -3 Lifts & 3 Trails

Jay picked up 3-4" of new snow overnight, and it is currently still snowing. Forecaster's expect 1-3" to fall during the day today, with an additional 2-4" overnight into Tuesday.

The Jet Triple Chair, Sunkid Moving Carpet and Queen's Highway T-Bar all start spinning at 9:00 AM with last chair at 4 PM. Surface conditions will be Packed Powder/Loose Granular on our open trails, which consist of The Jet, Haynes, Chalet Meadows and Learning Area.

The Metro Quad and Flyer will be opening up on Tramside this Friday, as we will have both sides of the resort connected and a extensive trail network taking form. Trails such as, Upper Goat Run, Lower Quai, Queen's Highway, Perry Merrill and the Interstate will be among the trails added for the weekend. Stay tuned, because as natural snow increases, terrain will be opening at a rapid rate, and with every flake we get one step closer to glade skiing.

Early-season lift tickets right now are $39 for Adults and $29 for Juniors, plus a one time $5 fee for your very own J CARD (which allows you to reload tickets online and bypass ticket lines forevermore.)
